Koukaki Collection

These objects were created from found and discarded materials while living in the Koukaki neighborhood of Athens, Greece — a vibrant area in the shadow of the Acropolis, alive with artist studios, colorful architecture, and a palpable authenticity. This collection serves as a physical manifestation of the inspiration I found there, further influenced by traditional Greek motifs and forms. Fabricated using egg and berry cartons, a cardboard box from a blender, snail shells gathered on Filopappou Hill (where the series was photographed), and a bit of flour and water to stick it all together.
